The Jacksonville Jaguars have made a surprise move on roster cutdown day.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jaguars are waiving second-year cornerback Jabbar Muhammad.

Jaguars waive CB Jabbar Muhammad
Muhammad signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent after the 2025 NFL draft and spent his rookie year on the practice squad.
This year, Muhammad was one of the standout performers during offseason programs and seemed to carry that momentum into training camp.
Muhammad brought versatility to the secondary, able to play inside and out, and while he allowed seven receptions on 10 targets in the preseason, he held opponents to just 7.0 yards per reception. He logged a pass breakup
as well.
At the top of the cornerback depth chart for the Jaguars are Travis Hunter, Montaric Brown, Jourdan Lewis, and Jarrian Jones. How the depth chart behind those four will shake out remains to be seen.
Christian Braswell, who could potentially be the fifth cornerback option, had an up-and-down summer.
