Jacksonville Jaguars' wide receiver Parker Washington has the opportunity to set a franchise record in Sunday's Week 3 game against New England.
According to ESPN, Washington has five consecutive games with 80-plus receiving yards dating back to last season. This is currently tied for the longest such streak in the Jaguars' history.
Washington ended last season playing some high-level football. This included surpassing the 100-yard mark in three of the Jaguars' final four games.
This season, he has seemingly picked up where he left off, totaling 83 receiving yards in Week 1, followed by 98 receiving yards in Week 2.
Washington is versatile, able to run a variety of routes, and he adds a YAC element to the offense.
A difficult matchup awaits Washington
as he looks to set a new Jaguars record, with the Patriots' stingy secondary coming to Jacksonville.
