The Jacksonville Jaguars steamrolled over the Cleveland Browns for an easy Week 1 victory, but it also came with a major milestone for quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who nabbed his 100th career touchdown today.
Lawrence turned in a strong performance today, proving why he was an MVP candidate last season. He finished the game 18/23 for 245 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions, for a 150.6 QBR.
His 100th career touchdown was the second of the day, caught by rookie Josh Cameron for both his first career catch, and his first career touchdown.
Lawrence is now the third quarterback in franchise history to reach this milestone; furthermore, according to the Jaguars, he is the fourth player in NFL history to have at least 100 passing and 20 rushing
touchdowns before reaching his 27th birthday.

In a post-game presser, head coach Liam Coen said he was pleased with how Lawrence ran the offense today.
"I thought he spread the ball around, trusted the guys that were in to make plays," he said. "I thought we protected him really well. I thought we mixed it up from the run game and some different things to keep them off balance, to allow Trevor to continue to do what he does. He did some really good stuff off schedule again today, especially the touchdown to Jakobi. I thought was a phenomenal throw and play in the back of the end zone. Was definitely pleased with the way that Trevor ran the offense today."
