The status of Eagles running back Saquon Barkley for Sunday's Week 5 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars seems to be up in the air at this time.
According to Ian Rapoport, Barkley is considered "week-to-week" as he works through a hamstring injury. Barkley exited the Eagles' game this past Sunday against the Rams with the injury.

Barkley is, of course, one of the best backs in football. In 2024, he rushed for 2,005 yards in the regular season and last year eclipsed the 1,100-yard mark. He is consistently one of the more difficult running backs to bring down. Through
three-plus games this season, Barkley is averaging 5.1 yards per rush.
Second on the team in carries this season is Tank Bigsby, but a separate report from Rapoport says that he is headed to injured reserve after suffering a core muscle injury. Will Shipley, a 2024 fourth-round pick, has 15 rush attempts this season, totaling 51 yards.
The Jaguars' defense is once again one of the stingiest in football against the run, allowing just 3.2 yards per carry. In Sunday's win in Cincinnati, the Bengals rushed for just 23 yards.
As the week unfolds, we should gain more insight into Barkley's potential availability for Sunday's game.
