The Jacksonville Jaguars are expecting big things from running back Bhayshul Tuten in his second NFL season.
While the expectation is that Chris Rodriguez and LeQuint Allen will each factor somewhat heavily into the running back rotation, it may be Tuten who leads the way.
“Tuten, I thought had a really good spring," Liam Coen said while appearing on 'The Schrager Hour.' "He does a great job of finding the end zone. His yards after contact and rushing yards, man, when he can get going and get downhill — I mean, he was 4.28 coming out. He can fly."
Tuten brings impressive speed to the running back position, and with that comes playmaking potential with his ability to make defenders miss, which, as Coen has described previously, is a skill that separates
the good running backs from the really good ones.

“His yards after contact and rushing yards, man, when he can get going and get downhill — I mean, he was 4.28 coming out. He can fly… we’re definitely expecting Tuten to have a big year for us.”

As is the case for any rookie, there is going to be a learning curve. But now in Year 2, the continuity of being in the same system for a second offseason can provide a jumping-off point for him heading into the 2026 season.
"He was so conscientious about ball security last year and doing right, okay, now you've got it, you understand it, now just go be you," Coen said. "Do what got you here, go be special. That's who you are. We’re definitely expecting Tuten to have a big year for us.”
