With Anton Harrisonout for the season, do the Jacksonville Jaguars have to make an addition at left tackle?
Without Harrison, the Jaguars are likely to continue leaning on Walker Little. While Little has had his ups and downs, he's also an experienced player, which is not easy to come by at this stage of the season.
Starting-caliber left tackles are going to be on rosters already. When it comes to making a trade, teams often aren't going to be willing to part with a starter at one of the game's most important positions. And if they are, the Jaguars' lack of salary cap space may make it difficult to acquire such a player.
For those reasons, the most likely outcome is that Little is the starter moving forward. That said, perhaps GM James Gladstone
does look to bolster the depth of this position.
As of now, if Little or Cole Van Lanen were to miss time, Wyatt Milum -- an unproven player -- and Daniel Faalele, who has some tackle experience but has mostly played right guard, are the next two options off the bench. On the practice squad is Geron Christian, who has played 1,895 career offensive snaps, but none since 2023.
So adding to the offensive tackle depth very well could be on Gladstone's radar, but a big addition to come in and start over Little seems unlikely right now.
