With training camp near, the Jacksonville Jaguars are still looking to add to their roster.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jaguars hosted wide receiver Zay Jones on a visit on Monday.
Why did the Jaguars host WR Zay Jones?
Jones spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons in Jacksonville before playing with Arizona the past two seasons.

With the Jaguars, Jones was a big part of the offense, totaling 185 targets over two seasons and hauling in 1,144 receiving yards with seven touchdowns. Jones' 2022 season was a career year for him, when he recorded nearly 1,000 receiving yards.
But with the Cardinals, Jones appeared in only 19 combined games over the last two years, catching 20 passes for 267 yards. Jones' 2025 season was
ended early due to anAchilles injury he suffered in Week 10.
The receiver room is one of the strongest position groups on the Jaguars' roster, but beyond the clear-cut top four players on the depth chart, there isn't a lot of offensive experience on the roster.
CJ Williams and Josh Cameron both impressed in the spring but are rookies. Tim Jones and Austin Trammell have primarily been special teams players.
Potentially adding Jones could provide some experience to the back end of the wide receiver depth chart. The visit also gave Jacksonville an opportunity to see how he's recovering from last season's injury.
