With training camp now complete for the Jacksonville Jaguars, only one preseason game remains, a Friday night matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This contest will provide a number of players with one last opportunity to make their case for playing time or to make a roster push before cutdown day on Sunday.

So given what we've learned over the last month, here is our latest projection of the Jaguars' defensive depth chart.

Defensive end

DE Josh Hines-Allen
DE Travon Walker
DE BJ Green
DE Danny Striggow
DE Wesley Williams
DE Zach Durfee
DE Bryan Thomas Jr.
DE Quindarius Dunnigan

Green and Striggow have seemingly established themselves as the next two defenders up in the edge rusher rotation. Williams should see some snaps, but as the potential fifth option, how many on a weekly basis remains to be seen.

Defensive tackle

DT Matt Dickerson
DT Albert Regis
DT Ruke Orhorhoro

Tommy Akingbesote

Dickerson's consistency has helped him climb the depth chart. He is Armstead's backup, while Regis

is the backup nose tackle. Orhorhoro provides an added pass rush presence.

Linebacker

Miller and Combs have been competing all summer for the starting role next to Oluokun. It's been difficult to gauge from the outside looking in who has the upper hand. What I could see happening is the Jaguars rotate the two, with Miller on the field during running downs and Combs on the field during passing downs.

Another battle unfolding is McLeod, Tavai, and Abdullah for one potential roster spot. Each has flashed this summer, so knowing exactly where things stand between the three isn't easy to decipher. Tavai's experience on defense and teams could be a differentiator for him.

Cornerback

I think that Muhammad has established himself as the fifth cornerback with his consistent play dating back to offseason programs. The question here, perhaps, is whether or not Braswell makes the roster as the sixth cornerback or whether the Jaguars roster only five?

Safety

We've known for a while that the first five players listed were going to make up the safety room on the 53-man roster. My one change after watching the first two preseason games is I placed Huskey ahead of Lane. He's really flashed on defense.
