The Jacksonville Jaguars are reportedly signing safety Kaevon Merriweather from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, according to Ian Rapoport.
Merriweather was elevated for this past week's game against the Philadelphia Eagles and filled that third safety role with Caleb Ransaw on injured reserve and Rayuan Lane starting in place of Eric Murray (concussion).
Merriweather would end up playing 21 defensive snaps, recording one tackle. He also played 12 special teams snaps as well.

The Jaguars signed Merriweather to the practice squad prior to Week 1. He brings NFL experience to Jacksonville,
appearing in 43 games since entering the NFL in 2023 as a UDFA, which includes making seven starts.
The bulk of Merriweather's playing time in his career has come on special teams.
