The Jacksonville Jaguars are still largely being overlooked by the NFL at large, but one player, at least, is finally getting recognized.
Parker Washington had a breakout season in 2025, particularly impressing in the latter half of the season. He quickly became one of the favorite targets of quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and ended the season with 58 passes for 847 yards and five touchdowns, according to PFF
.In three of the last four games of the season, he passed the 100-yard mark. Over that last month, he tied for 12th among all receivers in receptions and was eighth in yards.
NFL.com's Matt Okada ranked the most undervalued and overvalued fantasy players heading into 2026, and Washington made the list for players who aren't getting enough attention.
His average draft position was in the ninth round, and Okada argued it should be higher.
"From Week 7 on, Washington was the WR17 with 14.4 fantasy points per game, outpacing Brian Thomas Jr. and Jakobi Meyers in every relevant fantasy category in that span," he wrote. "Among 71 wideouts with at least 300 routes run in 2025, Washington ranked 14th in yards per route run (2.1) and cracked an even shorter list of 12 receivers to average 12-plus air yards per target and maintain at least a 60% catch rate. In other words, he’s legit. Thomas could bounce back, Meyers will get his targets and Hunter should rotate in, but I think Washington ends up being Jacksonville's top fantasy WR asset and a strong draft value."
There's no denying that the Jaguars' wide receiver room is one of their strongest units, and while it seems like Brian Thomas is set to have a redemption season, Washington likewise is proving that 2025 was not an aberration. He has been making multiple big plays during training camp, proving that he is still a reliable, explosive, and versatile receiver.
