Jacksonville Jaguars' offensive lineman Chuma Edoga exited the team's preseason opener with an injury. However, it doesn't appear to be long-term.
Following Monday's practice, head coach Liam Coen was asked if Edoga could still return during training camp.
"Yeah, I would definitely think so," said Coen.
The offensive line unit has been hit hard with injuries in training camp. In addition to Cole Van Lanen remaining on the PUP list, the Jaguars have also been without Patrick Mekari and Walker Little.
This has led to a lot of movement up front, and having Edoga a part of that mix with his experience and ability to play both guard and tackle proved to be quite valuable.
"It's kind of unfortunately we got that bug at the moment," Liam Coen said of the offensive
line injuries after Saturday's preseason game. "We just got to kind of get through it."
Edoga appeared in 10 games offensively last season with the Jaguars.
