The Jacksonville Jaguars wrapped up their fifth training camp practice on Monday, their first in pads. So where was Travis Hunter lined up throughout the morning?
According to ESPN's Michael DiRocco, Hunter played 13 total snaps in the 11-on-11 periods, with seven coming on defense and six on offense.
After a big day on Sunday, with three highlight plays generated, Hunter was targeted once on Monday by quarterback Nick Mullens. DiRocco notes that there was a "miscommunication" on the route, resulting in an incompletion.
In total, Hunter has played 69 snaps in the team periods this training camp, with 41 at cornerback and 28 at wide receiver.

The thought going into the season is that Hunter will play more cornerback than he did as a rookie. The Jaguars still plan for him to see snaps at wideout, but what that looks like on a weekly basis seems less certain. It could ebb and flow with the matchups and in-game situations dictating what his playing time looks like from one week to the next.
On Sunday, Hunter had an interceptionand two explosive plays at wide receiver.
"Yeah, that was good," Coen said of Hunter's performance the day before. "Just coming off what he's gone through to come out and make an impact fairly early on. And for the first time probably since we've been together was like back to back, like making a play on offense, then on defense, then back on offense."
Coen continued, "That was really just I think great for everybody to see, not just the fans and the exposure, all that. That's great. That's more just for his confidence and his comfort level getting back out on the grass with his teammates competing and for them to all see him compete like that."
