ESPN NFL insiders Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano shared some of the latest intel and buzz that they are hearing heading into Week 5, and the Jacksonville Jaguars made an appearance.
As Graziano was discussing a few different position groups, he mentioned that the Jaguars "don't need much" in terms of help, but did say that there may be one position on their radar.
"I could see them looking to add another edge rusher if the opportunity presents itself," Graziano wrote.
The pass rush depth was one of the question marks around this team entering the 2026 season. While Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen remain productive, at a heavily rotated position group where depth is a requirement, the overall production from the pass rush unit could still use
a boost.
Entering Week 5, the Jaguars rank around the middle of the pack in quarterback pressures and are 11th in sacks, although a large number of those production totals belong to Walker and Hines-Allen. By ESPN's pass rush win rate metric, the collective unit ranks 23rd.
Dennis Gardeck has seven quarterback pressures, while Bryan Thomas Jr. and Danny Striggow have four combined between the two of them.
If GM James Gladstone is looking to make a deal, which he's shown he's more than willing to do, the Jaguars do have plenty of 2027 draft capital, especially when projected compensatory draft picks are taken into consideration.
