In the Jacksonville Jaguars' Week 3 win over the Patriots, Travis Hunter recorded his first career interception, and it came at a crucial moment.
With the Jaguars up 14-3 just before halftime, the Patriots were threatening to score. With New England facing a 3rd-and-goal from the Jaguars' two-yard line, quarterback Drake Maye took the snap and rolled to his right. With pressure closing in, he threw to the back of the end zone, where Hunter was tight in coverage, and made a play on the ball, coming away with the interception.
“(Anthony Campanile) called the perfect call for us," Hunter said after the game, via Action Sports Jax. "We all talked, and we communicated on my side of the ball, and I just made it happen.”

Hunter was positioned perfectly, and he got his head around to make a play on the ball.
While the Jaguars still rotated at the cornerback position, Hunter played a season-high 45 defensive snaps in the win. He saw six targets come his way, but he allowed just three receptions, totaling 75 yards with a passer rating of 56.3. Hunter was in on several tackles as well.
“It felt great, but I was on to the next play," Hunter said of the interception. "That happened in the second quarter so I had to finish the game.”
