The Jacksonville Jaguars are listing six players as inactive for Sunday’s Week 1 game against the Browns.
On game days, teams are permitted to have 48 players active.
Jaguars Inactives v. Browns
- DE Bryan Thomas Jr.
- DE Wesley Williams
- TE Tanner Koziol
- S Jalen Huskey
- OL Daniel Faalele
- QB Quinn Ewers
Four Jaguars’ rookies will be inactive. Koziol, Huskey, Williams, and Thomas Jr. are all on the back end of their respective depth charts, and were unlikely to see snaps, hence why they are inactive.
Nick Mullens was elevated from the practice squad and will be the backup. While the Jaguars are bullish on Ewers’ upside, Mullens’ experience is valuable.
Faalele was a late addition to the training camp roster and with Cole Van Lanen available, his depth is not needed.
LeQuint Allen, who was questionable, is available as well.
