Jacksonville Jaguars' defensive tackle Ruke Orhorhorowas one of the team's standout performers during the latest training camp practice.
This isn't the first practice either where Orhorhoro has made some noise, but doing it with the pads on, as he did on Monday, will certainly garner attention.
According to John Shipley of Jaguars on SI, Orhorhoro
made "several standout plays" in team drills and in the one-on-ones."Orhorhoro recorded several near-sacks throughout the day, and he posed issues for each of the Jaguars' top guards during pass-rush drills," Shipley wrote.
A former second-round pick, Orhorhoro's raw production totals won't jump off the stat sheet. But as his role increased last season with Atlanta, the underlying metrics show a player
who can add more pass rush juice to the Jaguars' interior defensive line -- something that Jacksonville very much needs more of in 2026.
The Jaguars acquired Orhorhoro in a trade this offseason with Atlanta that sent Maason Smith to the Falcons.
"Super excited," Orhorhoro said of being with the Jaguars. "I can't wait to play for a guy like Liam. He's fired up. I see it every day. He sets the standard; people want to win here. I'm with a winning organization; they're building off last year, so it's just coming in, new face, new energy, just want to build off that and just take my career off."
