Quintin Morris' tenure with the Jaguars
The Jaguars signed Morris in free agency during the 2025 offseason. He then signed another one-year deal this offseason worth $2 million, according to Over the Cap.
Recapping Quintin Morris' 2025 season
As the 2025 season unfolded, Morris' role on offense continued to expand. Through the second-half of the year, he was the Jaguars' regular TE2 behind Brenton Strange, and often ahead of Johnny Mundt and Hunter Long in playing time.
His primary role on offense came as a blocker, and in addition to that, Morris was a core special teams contributor for the Jaguars. He played the fourth-most snaps on the team in 2025,
according to PFF, contributing to five of the six different phases throughout the year.
Morris caught six passes for 55 yards with a touchdown. His six solo special teams tackles were the sixth-most on the team.
Looking ahead to 2026 for Quintin Morris
Morris may no longer be TE2 with the addition of Nate Boerkircher, but he could still carve out a role offensively if we see the Jaguars use more three-tight-end sets. Morris will also continue to be a core special teams contributor.
Between Brenton Strange, Boerkircher, and Tanner Koziol accounting for three roster spots, there is probably only one other available on the 53-man, with Morris and Hunter Long vying for it. But Morris' ability as a blocker and his ability to contribute on special teams should give him the upper hand.
