As you set your fantasy football lineup for Week 8, Jacksonville Jaguars WR Parker Washington is one player that NFL.com's Matt Okada says should be a starter.
Okada points to the impressive overall body of work that Washington has put together this season as why is a notable starter this week.
"Washington is one of just six wideouts with a 35% air yards share and an average of 2.5 yards per route run. He has scored double-digit fantasy points in five of six games and should do so again against Indy," wrote Okada.
On the season, Washington has been a big play threat in the Jaguars' offense, catching 26 passes fro 416 yards with four scores. He is averaging 16.0 yards per catch and is a go-to target for Trevor Lawrence.
Along with Washington's production,
he is facing a Colts defense that will be without its starting nickel cornerback, Justin Walley. Instead, rookie Kapena Gushiken could get the start there.
The Colts' pass defense ranks 23rd in yards per pass attempt allowed, and the already struggling pass rush will be without DeForest Buckner, which could mean plenty of time in the pocket for Lawrence.
