In an interview with NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Josh Hines-Allen has a bold prediction for linebacker Ventrell Miller.
Miller is competing with Branson Combs for the starting linebacker role next to Foye Oluokun. Whoever wins that camp battle will take over for Devin Lloyd, who departed in free agency.
Hines-Allen called Lloyd a "true professional," noting his work ethic and the impact plays he made last season.
That said, Hines-Allen also believes that Miller can lead the NFL in a key category.
"We got Ventrell," Hines-Allen told Schultz, "I just told him today, he's going to lead the NFL in punch outs this year. Catch the ball, punch the ball."

The competition for the starting linebacker role seems to be quite close and going down to the wire.
On paper, someone will be the starter, but we could potentially see a rotation at this position, even in-season, with Miller on the field during early downs or run-heavy situations, with Combs then taking over on passing downs.
