The Jacksonville Jaguars were reportedly one of a few teams that reached out to the Tennessee Titans about defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons before he was traded, according to The Ringer's Tom Pelissero.
In his weekly intel article, Pelissero wrote that the Jaguars were one of at least three teams to reach out to the Titans about Simmons. How far those actual conversations went remains unknown.

According toBleacher Report, Pelissero said that the Titans probably did not want to trade Simmons within the division.
Simmons ended up being traded to the Chicago Bears for 2027 and 2028 first-round picks, along with a 2027 fourth-round
selection.
Pelissero added that Gladstone making the call on Simmons "probably portends more activity" ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline.
It would make sense that addressing the defensive line would be on the Jaguars' radar.
