If you have Jacksonville Jaguars' wide receiver Parker Washington on your fantasy football team, Matt Okada of NFL.com believes he is a must-start in Week 2.
Okada put together his weekly start'em, sit'em column, with Washington named the "start of the week."
After finishing the 2025 season red-hot, Washington picked up where he left off during the Jaguars' Week 1 regular-season opener. Against the Browns, he would haul in five receptions for 83 yards, including a 30-yard touchdown reception.
While the Broncos' secondary has Pat Surtain II, Okada notes that with Washington playing from the slot often, he should be able to avoid that matchup.
"Even in a tough matchup with Denver, Trevor Lawrence's top target will run most of his routes from the slot,
where he'll avoid Patrick Surtain II," Okada wrote. "With another great outing, expect Washington to be a weekly top-20 WR moving forward."
One other aspect that could impact the Jaguars' passing game is the disruptive Denver pass rush. How the Jacksonville offensive line unit holds up against the Broncos' pass rush will be important.
That said, Washington has shown over an extended time frame that he can produce at a high level week to week.
