The Jacksonville Jaguars won 22-17 over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4, and proved that the defense continues to be lethal in the red zone.
Linebacker Foye Oluokun intercepted Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow in the fourth quarter, giving Jacksonville its third red-zone takeaway of the season. That is the most in the NFL so far this season, according to Jaguars PR. No other team has more than one.
Oluokun’s interception also marked a personal milestone. It was the 10th of his career and his second of the 2026 season. The veteran linebacker is now one of just seven drafted since 2018 to record at least 10 career interceptions.

Oluokun's play came at a critical moment in the game, with Cincinnati threatening in Jacksonville territory, and the Jaguars holding a narrow lead. Oluokun stepped in front of Burrow’s pass to end the drive and give the offense another opportunity to extend the advantage.
Jacksonville has placed an increased emphasis on creating turnovers under defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile, and the results have continued to show up in high-leverage situations.
Head coach Liam Coen said after the game that ball disruption has become part of the defensive identity, something the Jaguars practice throughout the week and view as an edge that can help them win games. Oluokun’s interception was another example of that approach paying off, and another red-zone possession that ended with the ball in Jacksonville’s hands instead of points on the scoreboard.
