Training camp will begin on Wednesday for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and while there is always the potential that GM James Gladstone could continue to make additions, the roster is set with practices about to begin.
The next month of practices and preseason games will determine playing time at certain positions, establish the pecking order on the depth chart, and ultimately who makes the 53-man roster and practice squad.
But before it all begins, let's take one last look at each position group on offense for the Jaguars and what's at stake within each unit.
Quarterbacks
- Trevor Lawerence
- Nick Mullens
- Carter Bradley
- Joey Aguilar
Bradley and Aguilar are competing for the third quarterback spot on the depth chart, which will likely be on the practice squad. I don't believe
that Mullens' backup role is in jeopardy.
Running backs
- Bhayshul Tuten
- Chris Rodriguez
- LeQuint Allen
- DeeJay Dallas
- Ameer Abdullah
- J'Mari Taylor
How the rotation between Tuten, Rodriguez, and Allen shakes out remains to be seen, but we know those three will each see snaps this season. Do the Jaguars end up keeping a fourth running back as they often did last season?
Wide receiver
- Brian Thomas Jr.
- Parker Washington
- Jakobi Meyers
- Travis Hunter
- CJ Williams
- Josh Cameron
- Tim Jones
- Austin Trammell
- Trebor Pena
- Chandler Brayboy

Wide receiver is a very strong position group with Brian Thomas Jr., Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington, and Travis Hunter leading the way. Likely rounding out the depth chart are rookies CJ Williams and Josh Cameron, both of whom performed well during offseason programs. That said, Austin Trammell and/or Tim Jones could make a roster push with their ability to help on special teams.
Tight end
- Brenton Strange
- Nate Boerkircher
- Quintin Morris
- Tanner Koziol
- Hunter Long
- Patrick Herbert
- Ethan Conner
With the additions of Boerkircher and Koziol, will we see more two and three tight end sets from the Jaguars? Also, how does Boerkircher's presence impact how Strange is utilized? And will Long be left on the outside looking in during roster cutdowns? Morris' ability to contribute on special teams and as a blocker could be differentiators for him.
Offensive line

With Van Lanen on the PUP list, we will see Little at left tackle until he returns. One potential positional battle could be at right guard, where Milum could push Mekari for snaps. On the back end of the depth chart, Edoga could be the odd man out this year with the offseason addition of Pregnon.
