Did Travis Hunter ever get the ball from his first career interception?

Following his first career interception, the Jacksonville Jaguars' Travis Hunter eventually ended up with that football.

After coming away with the pick, Hunter celebrated with his teammates and, in the process, threw the ball to the side. A Patriots ball boy then scooped it up, and when Josh Hines-Allen attempted to retrieve the ball for Hunter, a viral moment was created.

Allen wanted the ball back because it was Travis Hunter’s first career INT, but the staffer wasn’t having it.

According toESPN, the Jaguars confirmed on Monday that the team was able to get the ball back for

Hunter.

"I know there was something that went on there," Liam Coen said on Monday. "I think it's all squared away. We'll get it taken care of."

While the Jaguars still rotated at the cornerback position, Hunter played a season-high 45 defensive snaps in the win over New England. He saw six targets come his way, but he allowed just three receptions, totaling 75 yards with a passer rating of 56.3. Hunter was in on several tackles as well.
