Now a few weeks into training camp, what might the Jacksonville Jaguars' starting offense look like when they take on the Cleveland Browns to open up the regular season?
We know who most of the starting spots belong to, but the top spot on the running back depth chart is up for grabs, and there has been movement along the offensive line due to injuries.
Given what we've seen throughout training camp, here is an early projection of who could make up the starting offensive unit in Week 1.
Quarterback
Trevor Lawrence
Lawrence's rapport with his receivers has continued to grow in Year 2 under Liam Coen, and there has been a continued emphasis on pushing the ball downfield.
Running back
Bhayshul Tuten
We are going to see a lot of Chris Rodriguez as well -- the RB1 title may not
mean much this season. But my prediction is that Tuten holds the top spot on the depth chart.
Wide receiver
Brian Thomas Jr., Jakobi Meyers, Parker Washington
No surprises here. And we will see Travis Hunter rotated in as well.
Tight end
Brenton Strange
Strange will lead the way, while Nate Boerkircher will likely be TE2 when the Jaguars utilize 12 personnel.
Offensive line
Anton Harrison, Ezra Cleveland, Robert Hainsey, Patrick Mekari, Wyatt Milum
This group is very difficult to project, given the current injuries and not knowing when players will return. Patrick Mekari has done individual work but no team drills as of yet. Originally, Wyatt Milum was in his place, but right now it's Jonah Monheim, with Milum at right tackle for Walker Little, who is sidelined as well. We also do not know when Cole Van Lanen will return. Even before Little's injury, Harrison was already seeing steady work at left tackle.
