As we continue to take a look back at the Jacksonville Jaguars' Week 1 performance against the Cleveland Browns, let's highlight some noteworthy snap count figures.
For the most part, when it comes to playing time, there aren't many huge surprises, but each week, particularly early on, there are a few things we can glean.
With help from PFF, here are a few quick notes from the Jaguars' snap count totals from Week 1.
Where was Travis Hunter playing?
The bulk of Travis Hunter's reps came at cornerback, where he played 29 snaps. On offense, he played just four snaps. This discrepancy doesn't come as a surprise.
Running back workload
Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez each saw relatively equal playing time. Tuten was on the field for 28 snaps and Rodriguez 23. However, Tuten carried the ball 15 times, while
Rodriguez had just six rush attempts.
What about at linebacker?
As expected, both Ventrell Miller and Branson Combs saw the field. That said, Miller played the majority of the defensive snaps, taking 33 reps to Combs' 15.
