Ahead of the Jacksonville Jaguars' Week 1 matchup with the Cleveland Browns, the team has released its first depth chart of the 2026 regular season.

Here are five observations from it.

Emmanuel Pregnon is starting at left guard

Early on in training camp, it seemed as if the Jaguars wanted to bring Pregnon along slowly. However, his play, along with the Jaguars needing to shake things up due to injuries, created an opportunity for the rookie that he was able to capitalize on.

Who is RB1?

The starting running back role is listed as Bhayshul Tuten "or" Chris Rodriguez. As we've said all along, the starter and backup roles at this position may not mean a whole lot this season. The expectation is that both backs are going to see their share of opportunities. Matchups and in-game situations could dictate

what the weekly workloads look like.

Experience prioritized along the defensive line

This doesn't come as much of a surprise, but at tackle, Matt Dickerson is listed as Arik Armstead's backup over Ruke Orhorhoro, while at end, BJ Green and Danny Striggow are ahead of rookies Wesley Williams and Bryan Thomas Jr.

Where is Travis Hunter?

Again, no surprises here, but Hunter is listed as a backup wide receiver behind Brian Thomas Jr., and he's also listed as a starting outside cornerback. While the Jaguars plan to continue utilizing Hunter on offense, the expectation is that he will see a larger workload on defense.

Who is starting at linebacker next to Foye Oluokun?

Just like at running back, we have an 'or' situation on our hands. Rather than naming a specific starter, it is listed as Ventrell Miller "or" Branson Combs. This will likely be a rotation, with Miller potentially seeing the field during running downs and Combs seeing snaps on obvious passing situations.
