The Jacksonville Jaguars held their Teal vs. White scrimmage on Friday. So let's check in on where Travis Hunter was lined up and how he performed.
ESPN's Michael DiRocco has been tracking Hunter's snap counts during the 11-on-11 periods of practice throughout training camp. In the scrimmage, Hunter played 21 total snaps, with 14 coming on defense and seven on offense.
DiRocco adds that Hunter didn't have any receptions on two targets, but he did have a 10-yard pickup on a jet sweep. Of Hunter's 14 defensive snaps, 13 came with the ones.

In his return to the field following last season's knee injury, Hunter has seemingly hit the ground running. His teammates and coaches have spoken highly about what they've seen from him in Year 2, while recently, Hunter logged an interception and two explosive passing plays over the course of just one practice.
The expectation is that Hunter will play a much larger role on defense this season, presumably seeing steady snaps opposite of Montaric Brown. However, he will continue to have a role on offense, with Liam Coen shedding light on what that could look like.
Through eight training camp practices, Hunter has played 76 total defensive snaps and 47 on offense.
