The Green Bay Packers (5-3) and New England Patriots (5-3) meet Sunday in Foxborough, Massachusetts, for a Week 9 battle. Kickoff from Gillette Stadium is at 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX). Let's analyze NFL odds around the Packers vs. Patriots odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.
The Packers picked up their fourth win in 5 games in Week 8, knocking off the Carolina Panthers 27-19. Green Bay covered as a 3.5-point home favorite, while the Under (47.5) hit. QB Jordan Love threw for 288 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. RB Josh Jacobs found the end zone twice despite managing just 52 yards on 27 touches.
The Patriots kept rolling in Week 8, picking up their fourth win in 5 games with a 24-19 victory over the Miami Dolphins.

Packers at Patriots picks and predictions
Prediction
Packers 24, Patriots 20
Moneyline
BET PACKERS (+140).
Green Bay has plenty going for it heading into this matchup, starting with Love and the NFL's top passing attack. He leads the league with 2,246 passing yards, and the Packers are averaging 271 yards through the air. Green Bay also gets some extra rest after beating Carolina on Thursday in Week 8, giving Matt LaFleur more time to prepare for New England.
The Packers' defense has been getting the job done, as well, holding 5 straight opponents to 20 points or fewer while forcing 15 turnovers this season. That's a tough matchup for a Patriots offense with 15 giveaways and a -7 turnover differential.
New England is also dealing with injuries on offense, and Green Bay has a history of playing well as an underdog. There's enough here to like the Packers' chances of stealing one.
SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL: Best prop bets
Against the spread
PASS.
I won't fault you for taking the Packers getting points but I'd rather get those plus odds on the moneyline.
Over/Under
BET UNDER 44.5 (-108).
Green Bay has been a solid team to back in low-scoring games, going 6-2 to the Under this season (including 3-1 on the road). The Packers have also held 5 straight opponents to 20 points or fewer. Both defenses rank among the NFL's top 10 in points allowed, while injuries could limit both offenses. Throw in some chilly New England weather, and this one has all the makings of a defensive grind.
Best prop bet
TE TUCKER KRAFT OVER 43.5 RECEIVING YARDS (-120).
Kraft has been a steady option for Love, averaging 43.8 receiving yards and more than 6 targets per game. He's finished with at least 42 yards in 4 of his last 5 outings. New England has also allowed tight ends to reach 43 yards in 3 of its last 4 games. With Kraft averaging 10 yards per catch, he shouldn't need many opportunities to have a productive afternoon.
