The Indianapolis Colts (2-5) and Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2) square off at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. The Week 8 kickoff is scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET (CBS). Let's analyze NFL odds around the Colts at Jaguars odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.
The Colts (+7.5) dropped their third straight, losing a defensive struggle at Minnesota 16-10 (Under 43) last Sunday. The Colts held the Vikings to 275 total yards (139 passing, 136 rushing), yet were still outgained as they could muster only 218 yards (64 passing, 154 rushing). Colts QB Daniel Jones completed 13 of 22 passes for 108 yards with an INT and was sacked 4 times for -44 yards. The lone bright spot on the Colts offense was RB Jonathan Taylor
who ran for 95 yards and 1 TD on 18 carries. Colts K Spencer Shrader, who leads the NFL with 70 points and was perfect on FG attempts entering the game, missed twice.
The Jaguars enter the game off a bye week after losing their last game 34-31 (Over 42) against the Texans (+2.5) in London on Oct. 18 with Houston K Ka'imi Fairbairn nailing a 49-yard FG as time expired. Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence completed 24 of 41 passes for 306 yards and 4 TDs with 1 INT. CB/WR Travis Hunter had the best game of his Jaguars career, catching 4 passes for 59 yards with a TD and also had an INT in the end zone to squelch a Texans scoring opportunity. Jags RB Bhayshul Tuten contributed 12 carries for 39 yards and also had 4 catches for 48 yards and 2 TDs. The Jaguars struggled to contain the Texans' passing game with QB C.J. Stroud completing 24 of 34 passes for 312 yards and 3 TDs with 1 INT.
The Colts lead the all-time series vs. the Jaguars 28-22, but Jacksonville has won 4 of the last 5 and 7 of the last 9 meetings. The Jaguars swept the series last season, winning 36-19 at home on Dec. 7, 2025, and prevailing 23-17 at Indianapolis on Dec. 28, 2025.

Colts at Jaguars picks and predictions
Prediction
Jaguars 31, Colts 16
Moneyline
PASS.
For the second straight week, the Colts are on the road facing a team coming off a bye. The Jaguars have won 11 straight games in Jacksonville against the Colts. I'm fully expecting them to increase that mark to 12 straight games, but there's no value in the moneyline.
Against the spread
BET JAGUARS -10 (-108).
The Jaguars have the best run defense in the NFL (72.2 yards per game), but the league's 30th-ranked pass defense (273.8 YPG). That puts the onus on Colts QB Jones, who has not enjoyed the same success in his second season with the Colts that he did in his first. He has a career-low completion percentage of 59.6%, has thrown 7 INTs vs. 4 TDs and has been sacked 19 times. Oh, and the Colts just traded their best offensive lineman, eight-time Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson, to the Seattle Seahawks this week.
During Jacksonville's 11-game home winning streak vs. the Colts, 7 games have been decided by at least 10 points.
Over/Under
PASS.
The Colts defense is middle of the pack in the NFL and the Jaguars should be able to find some holes. In the 11-game home winning streak vs. the Colts, the Jaguars are averaging 31 points while holding the Colts to an average of 16. And, of course, 47 is right around the number the books are providing. But weather may also be a factor with rain in the forecast during the game window. I'll stay away.
Best prop bet
BET JAGUARS RB BHAYSUL TUTEN 75+ RUSHING YARDS (+105).
Tuten has approached this number but has yet to surpass it this season. The Colts run defense (124.4 rushing yards allowed per game) ranks in the bottom half of the league. If the conditions are poor, the Jaguars may lean on their run game more than normal, opening the door for Tuten to have a breakout game.
