The GUARDIANS (-150) are worth playing in Game 1, but there is a concern of rust vs. momentum. The White Sox just won 2 games in Houston and are riding a wave, while Cleveland has to come alive and flip the proverbial switch. That's sometimes easier said than done, and rest can sometimes do more harm to momentum.
Run line/Against the spread
If you're a bit more adventurous, let's back the GUARDIANS -1.5 (+150) behind the southpaw Messick. While hitters can take a little bit longer to lock in after an extended rest, pitching should be less affected, and Messick is a strong option in Game 1.
