The Las Vegas Raiders (1-0) and the LA Chargers (0-1) meet Sunday for their Week 2 game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS). Let's analyze NFL odds around the Raiders vs. Chargers odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.
The Raiders lead the all-time series 69-62-2, but the Chargers have won 4 in a row, sweeping the past 2 regular-season series. The last win by the Raiders was a 63-21 victory at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Dec. 14, 2023. The Chargers have covered 4 in a row in this series, too, while the Under is 4-1 in the past 5 meetings in Los Angeles.
The Raiders opened with a 27-13 win over the Miami Dolphins at home last Sunday, covering as a 3.5-point favorite
as the Under (40.5) cashed. QB Kirk Cousins debuted with 3 passing TDs, including 2 to RB Ashton Jeanty. The Raiders' star tailback rushed for 102 yards, while adding 6 catches, 45 yards and 2 scores.
The Chargers were stunned by the Arizona Cardinals, losing 26-14 at home despite being a 9.5-point favorite as the Under (47.5) came through. WR Ladd McConkey had 5 catches for 82 yards and a TD, but he left with a rib injury.

Raiders at Chargers picks and predictions
Prediction
Chargers 26, Raiders 20
Moneyline
The Chargers (-295) will cost you nearly 3 times your potential return. I expect LA to bounce back, but the way the Chargers played last week, it's almost tempting to back the Raiders (+240). The key to this game is the health of McConkey. If he is inactive for Sunday's game, a road win by Las Vegas wouldn't be surprising.
PASS.
Against the spread
Back RAIDERS +6.5 (-105), regardless of the health of the top receiving threat for the Bolts. It would be a lot nicer if this were a flat 7 or 7.5. You could buy up before Sunday, as Raiders +7 (-125) - Alternate Spread isn't priced out of line, and even Raiders +7.5 (-145) - Alternate Spread isn't bad.
If McConkey is indeed active, we could see some movement. So it might behoove you to wait, rather than buying up early.
Over/Under
OVER 43.5 (-108) is the lean, but roll with a half-unit play at best.
The Under is 4-1 in the past 5 meetings at SoFi Stadium, so be mindful of that. Plus, we could see McConkey sidelined, and it appears Bowers will miss a second straight game for the Raiders. That would be a lot of offensive production on the shelf, so tread lightly.
