The Vikings (-2.5) enter the game off a bye following a 23-13 (Under 41.5) victory at the New Orleans Saints Oct. 11. QB Kyler Murray had his best game with the Vikings, completing 24 of 30 passes for 229 and 1 TD, while running for 51 yards on 10 carries. WR Justin Jefferson was back in the Vikings lineup after missing a game with ankle injury, catching 6 passes for 79 yards and 1 TD. Vikings RB Aaron Jones Sr. also had a strong game, rushing for 113 yards on 25 carries and 1 TD. The Vikings defense was again dominant, holding the Saints to 142 total yards (87 passing, 55 rushing) and forcing 3 turnovers (1 fumble, 2 INTs).
The Colts lead the all-time series vs. the Vikings 18-9-1, though Minnesota has won the last two matchups. The teams last met Nov. 3, 2024, at Minnesota, with the Vikings prevailing 21-13. Jefferson had 7 catches for 137 yards and Jones Sr. had 64 yards on 21 carries for the Vikings. Taylor was limited to 48 yards on 13 carries.

The Vikings have had an extra week to prepare for a home game against a team that just lost to the Titans. As wild as the NFL can be sometimes, it wouldn't be a total surprise if the Colts rebounded with a win in Minnesota, but I'm not going out on that limb.
Against the spread
BET VIKINGS -6.5 (-108).
Indianapolis' Jones has not enjoyed the same success with the Colts that he did in his first season with the team last year. He has a career-low completion percentage of 59.6%, has thrown 6 INTs vs. 4 TDs and has already been sacked 15 times. And that's before he had to face this Vikings defense. I don't think Sunday will go well for the Colts offense.
While the Colts defense played relatively well last week, holding the Titans to 186 total yards, they rank in the bottom half of the league in total defense (351.2 yards per game) and scoring defense (27.3 points per game). RB Jordan Mason, who suffered a broken thumb in Week 1, is expected to be back in the Vikings lineup, and Minnesota should have enough offense to win this game handily.
Over/Under
BET UNDER 41.5 (-110).
The Under has hit in 4 of 5 Vikings games this season, and I suspect that trend will continue Sunday.

This is a little tricky. Jones been on a tear and easily cleared this number in his last 4 games, but that was with Mason out of the lineup AND despite playing with a sprained MCL. If he continues to run like he has to start this season, he should still be able to clear this number despite splitting carries again.
