The Chicago Bears (5-2) and the Seattle Seahawks (4-3) meet in Week 8 for Monday Night Football at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN / ABC). Let's analyze NFL odds around the Bears vs. Seahawks odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.
Seahawks leads the all-time series 12-8, including a 6-3 road win Dec. 26, 2024, in the most recent meeting. The last time these teams met in Seattle in 2021, the Bears posted a 25-24 victory. The Bears have covered the past 3 meetings, while the Under is 3-1 in the 4 installments in this series.
Chicago topped the New England Patriots 30-24 cashing as a 2.5-point favorite on Thursday Night Football in Week 7. The Over (51.5) cashed, and the total
has gone high in 2 in a row, with the Bears averaging 30.5 points per game (PPG). That improvement in production coincides with the return of QB Caleb Williams from a 3-week hamstring injury.
Seattle belted the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football in Week 7, covering as a 2.5-point favorite as the Under (42.5) cashed. That halted a 2-game loss and non-cover streak. The Under has a 4-3 edge in 7 games this season. QB Sam Darnold hit 20 of 28 passes for 257 yards with a TD and INT and RB Emanuel Wilson had 24 carries for 100 yards and a score.

Bears at Seahawks picks and predictions
Prediction
Seahawks 26, Bears 23
Moneyline
The SEAHAWKS (-174) are worth playing, but it's a rather high price, so be prepared to pay. However, with a 3-point spread, I think this comes right down on the number. I'd rather go lightly, and take my chances simply picking a winner, rather than fiddling around with the spread.
MNF: Best prop bets
Against the spread
Neither the Seahawks -3 (-110) nor then Bears +3 (-110) are worth playing with a flat 3. If anything, I'd consider forgetting about the moneyline and taking SEAHAWKS -2.5 (-146) - ALTERNATE LINE, for a slightly cheaper price, but the savings aren't terribly substantial.
Over/Under
OVER 46.5 (-110) is the lean, but roll with a half-unit play at best.
The Bears have cashed the Over in each of the past 2 games, scoring 30.5 PPG, while allowing 23.5 PPG, and the Chicago defense has allowed 23+ in 3 in a row.
The Seahawks defense has been nasty, though, so proceed with caution. Still, the offense is good for 29+ in 4 of the past 6 games, and they should move the ball against the Bears, and their mediocre defense.
Best prop bet
Seahawks RB RB ZACH CHARBONNET OVER 32.5 RUSHING YARDS (-114).
The Seahawks welcome Charbonnet back from the reserve/injured list. He suffered a torn ACL in the playoffs last season, so the Seattle backfield has been a hodgepodge to date. The Bears allow 4.4 yards per carry, which ranks 22nd in the NFL, so look for Charbonnet to get the job done. If he gets 8-10 carries, he'll blow this total up in his season debut.
