The Buffalo Bills (3-1) face the LA Rams (2-2) on Monday Night Football at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. It's a battle between the last 2 MVP winners, QBs Josh Allen and Matthew Stafford. Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. ET (ABC / ESPN). Let's analyze NFL odds around the Bills vs. Rams odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.
The Bills dropped their first game of the season last week, a 29-26 loss to the New England Patriots (+275) as the Over (49.5) hit. Allen threw for 253 yards and a TD, but he also had an interception and gained just 4 yards rushing on 5 carries. WR Keon Coleman led the team with 116 yards receiving, stepping up after WR D.J. Moore exited in the second quarter with a shoulder injury. Buffalo ranked
first in points per game (31.8) entering Week 5, but it is just 25th in points allowed per game (26.8).
The Rams (-3.5) won in dramatic fashion in Week 4, erasing a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 24-20 as the Over (42.5) cashed. The win got them back to .500 on the year, avoiding a second straight loss after blowing a 16-point lead to the Denver Broncos in Week 3. The Rams are second in the NFL in total yards (1,668) and yards allowed (990), but they're only 19th in scoring at only 21.3 points per game.
The Bills lead the all-time series 9-6, but the Rams won last meeting 44-42 in 2024

Bills at Rams picks and predictions
Prediction
Bills 30, Rams 27
Moneyline
Buffalo's defense is suspect, but there's no denying the explosiveness of its offense. The Bills are No. 1 in explosive play rate, meaning they generate the most big plays of any team. The Rams have been good at preventing big plays, ranking fourth defensively, but Allen has had the Rams' number in his career with an average of 365 total yards and 5 TDs per game.
The Bills will bounce back from last week's loss at home to beat the Rams on the road in an offensive shootout. The Rams haven't been consistent enough on offense to trust, and the defense has benefitted from some favorable matchups against the New York Giants, Broncos and Eagles. BET BILLS +150 to win outright.
Against the spread
If you're taking the Bills on the ML, there isn't much reason to take them to cover the spread, too. But if you want some insurance, you can take Buffalo +3.5 (-118) for an added cushion. Otherwise PASS on the spread.
Over/Under
The Bills have given up at least 29 points in 3 of their 4 games this season, while the Rams gave up 27 in their toughest defensive matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1. There's no question Los Angeles' defense is better than Buffalo's, but it hasn't faced an offense like the Bills'.
BET OVER 54.5 (-108) in anticipation of these teams playing another high-scoring affair. In their last 3 meetings, only once has a team scored fewer than 31 points.
Best prop bet
Rams TE COLBY PARKINSON OVER 17.5 RECEIVING YARDS (-115).
Parkinson is the Rams' No. 1 tight end and after missing Week 4, he's expected to play against the Bills. He'll do so without TE Terrance Ferguson taking snaps and targets away from him, as Ferguson remains on IR. He should be the third option behind WR Puka Nacua and WR Davante Adams in an offense that's lacking a true No. 3 wideout.
