In the final game of Week 2, the Los Angeles Rams (0-1) are hosting the New York Giants (1-0) at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Monday Night Football. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN / ABC) from Los Angeles, California. Let's analyze NFL odds around the Giants vs. Rams odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.
The Giants and Rams enter this game trending in opposite directions. The Giants (+3) secured a statement win over the Dallas Cowboys last week, beating their rivals 28-20 on Sunday Night Football. QB Jaxson Dart played brilliantly, throwing for 230 yards and 3 TDs with no interceptions, while also rushing for 54 yards on 11 carries. The Giants went 9 for 11 on third down and held Dallas to just 244 total
yards of offense. RB Cam Skattebo scored once and had 81 yards on 18 carries, while TE Isaiah Likely led all players with 78 receiving yards and 2 TDs.
The Rams (-3.5) were embarrassed by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, losing 27-7 (Under 48.5) in Australia to open the year. They're still the Super Bowl favorites, but it was a wake-up call for Sean McVay's squad. They had just 290 yards of total offense and 15 first downs, with QB Matthew Stafford throwing for only 155 yards and a pick. DE Myles Garrett (knee) was placed on injured reserve, but for the most part the Rams are relatively healthy. DT Aaron Donald is expected to make his season debut 2 years after retiring.

Giants at Rams picks and predictions
Prediction
Rams 24, Giants 21
Moneyline
The Giants look much better now than they did when the schedule first came out, but this is still a good bounce-back spot for the Rams. They're at home and haven't played since Sept. 10, so they're well rested and prepared to face a quality Giants team. Week 1 is likely to be more of an outlier than anything because it was in Australia against an opponent that knows them well.
It's still not worth taking the Rams at -300 after what we saw in the opener, but they're the better team in this matchup and have the home-field advantage.
PASS on the ML.
Against the spread
Last season, the Rams were 4-1 in games following a loss, so they're usually good in bounce-back games under McVay. What makes this one even more favorable is that they're at home against an East Coast team that has to fly across the country. Following a big win over a rival last week, the Giants could come back down to earth against a defense that has significantly more talent than Dallas'.
That being said, the Giants have a recipe for success against the Rams. Like the 49ers, they also utilize a heavy dosage of the run with 2-back sets, leaning on Skattebo and FB Patrick Ricard. If they can maintain possession and keep it out of Stafford's hands, the Giants will keep it close.
BET GIANTS +7 (-118) to cover.
Over/Under
The Rams' game went Under the total in Week 1, while the Giants' matchup with Dallas finished at 48 points – which was either Over 47.5 or Under 48.5, depending on what it was bet at. The Giants were remarkably efficient on offense, averaging 4 points per drive and a league-best 56.6 yards per possession. It helps that they went 9 for 11 on third down, but that's unlikely to happen again.
With New York's pass rush and ground game, it could limit the number of possessions the Rams get, thus shortening the game. BET UNDER 47.5 (-110).
Best prop bet
Rams RB BLAKE CORUM OVER 46.5 RUSHING YARDS (-115)
Corum went over this number on just 10 carries in Week 1, rushing for 54 yards against the 49ers. The Rams were all out of sorts on offense in that game, too, barely getting into a rhythm. As 7-point favorites, it should be a leading game script, giving Corum more opportunities to touch the ball and pick up yards.
