hitting 17 of 25 from the field and 5 of 10 from downtown. The No. 3 pick overall, F Cam Boozer, ended up with just 7 points on 2 of 15 shooting, misfiring on all 6 of his triple attempts. He was able to gather 11 rebounds, however.
The Warriors were crushed by the Los Angeles Lakers on the road, falling 127-105. Golden State was limited to just 41% (38 of 92), including 22% (8 of 36) from behind the arc. As usual, G Stephen Curry was a bright spot, finishing with 23 points with a pair of triples, but no other Warriors player had more than 14 points. The Warriors were able to rack up 15 steals, including at least 1 by 11 different players, which is an interesting stat.

The WARRIORS (-158) aren't priced out of line if you'd like to bet the moderate favorites straight up, rather than laying the points in what should be a close game.
The Grizzlies did a good job covering as favorites against a bad Jazz team, but we'll learn a lot more about this team in their first road game. The fact is, Jerome isn't going to have a career night like he did against Utah.
Against the spread
The WARRIORS -4.5 (-104) are the lean, but go with a half-unit play at most.
It's hard to ignore Golden State's 6-game win streak in the series, while going 9-1 SU in the past 10 in the series since Feb. 2, 2024, but be careful. The Warriors are just 6-4 ATS in those 10 meetings, while splitting 3-3 ATS in the past 6 meetings at home.
Over/Under
BET OVER 236.5 (-112), but don't get carried away.
Again, we're looking at the recent history in this series, and the Over has cashed in each of the past 6 meetings. Yes, the personnel has changed, but it's hard to ignore an 8-1 run to the Over in the past 9 in the series, including a perfect 6-0 in San Francisco.

Bet Grizzlies G TY JEROME - UNDER 21.5 POINTS (-120).
In Jerome's career, he has averaged double digits per game just 3 times, and 2 of those seasons he logged 33 or fewer games played. He averaged a career-best 19.7 points per game with Memphis last season, but that came in just 15 games. It's a snapshot. Jerome isn't going to roll up huge numbers like he did in the opener. There just isn't evidence that he is going to go from a mediocre role player to Michael Jordan overnight. Go low, as this total is super high.
