The Milwaukee Brewers and the Tampa Bay Rays meet Monday for Game 3 of the World Series at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. First pitch is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET (FOX). Let's analyze MLB odds around the Brewers vs. Rays odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.
Best-of-7 series: Brewers lead 2-0; won regular-season series 2-1 in Milwaukee March 30-April 1
Milwaukee (-115) fell behind 4-0 in the top of the first inning of Game 2 Saturday, but the Brewers responded with 2 runs in the bottom of the first, and runs in the fourth, sixth and seventh innings to post the come-from-behind 5-4 victory as the Over (6.5) cashed.
Rays C Liam Hicks, who drove in 2 runs in the 3-2 Game 1 win, had a 2-run shot off of Brewers
RHP Logan Henderson in the top of the first. Rays 1B Jonathan Aranda, who had 3 hits in Game 1, finished 1 for 4 with a double and 2 strikeouts in Game 2. Brewers RF Sal Frelick went 2 for 4 with a solo homer, while LF Jackson Chourio and C William Contreras each collected 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
The series shifts to the Suncoast, and Milwaukee has posted 3 straight road victories in the postseason since losing Game 3 in San Diego in the NLDS Oct. 6. The Over is 4-1 in the past 5 playoff games for the Brew Crew.
For the Rays, they'll be glad to have some home cooking, as they're 4-1 in 5 playoff games at home, including a 7-3 win over the Cleveland Guardians in Game 6 of the ALCS. Their lone loss was in Game 1 against the Guardians, also by a 7-3 score. The Over is 3-1 in the past 4 home playoff games for the Rays.

Brewers at Rays picks and predictions
Prediction
Rays 4, Brewers 2
Moneyline
The RAYS (-118) are worth a look in Game 3, as Peralta has really come up big in this postseason for Tampa Bay. This is a must-win game for the Rays, as it can ill afford to go into an 0-3 series hole, having to win 4 consecutive games. It's do-or-die, and I think Peralta rises to the occasion yet again.
Run line/Against the spread
Backing the Rays +1.5 (-210) on the run line makes no sense, as that is way too much risk for not nearly enough return, if you need a little bit of insurance. If you to fold this into a same-game parlay, especially with a boost or promo, that's perfectly OK, but avoid straight up.
PASS for a singular play.
Over/Under
UNDER 7 (-120) is worth a look despite the fact we had a total of 9 runs in Game 2. While the game went Over, and it doesn't matter how it did, we did have a total of just 3 runs in the final 8 innings, so that speaks well for the bullpens on both sides.
The Over is 2-1 in Peralta's 3 postseason starts, but the Rays have allowed just 6 runs in those outings. The offense has come up big in those starts.
For Gasser, the Over-Under is 1-1 in his 2 postseason assignments. The Over-Under is 2-2 in 4 road playoff games for the Brewers, so there isn't much to glean there. The gut feeling is that we have a much better pitching show in Game 3.
