The San Francisco 49ers (4-0) and their division rival Seattle Seahawks (3-1) meet Sunday at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX). Let's analyze NFL odds around the 49ers vs. Seahawks odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.
San Francisco remained undefeated with a 24-14 Week 4 victory over the Denver Broncos, covering as a 2.5-point home favorite as the Under (48.5) cashed. After being tied 3-3 with Denver at half, the Niners would go on to score 21 in the second half, including a 56-yard receiving TD from TE George Kittle, to ice the game late. QB Brock Purdy continues to look like the MVP front-runner, throwing for 1,007 yards, only 1 INT, and accounting for 12 total TDs on 79-of-113
(69.9%) completion through 4 games.
Seattle got back in the win column just a week after being upset 33-31 by the Washington Commanders, winning 30-23 over the LA Chargers while covering as a 6.5-point home favorite as the Over (42.5) hit. The Seahawks were up 20-6 at half, but a 17-10 second-half surge by LA gave the defending champs a slight scare. Seattle's defense forced 4 turnovers, but the game remained tight because the Seahawks were outgained 301-286 in total yards, mostly because they failed to get WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (5 catches, 76 yards) going.

49ers at Seahawks picks and predictions
Prediction
49ers 28, Seahawks 21
Moneyline
BET 49ERS (+140).
San Francisco's offense has been elite, averaging 389 yards and 30.5 points per game, both good for top 5 in the NFL. Additionally, the Niners have picked up 2 very impressive wins against the Rams and Broncos, whereas the Seahawks have looked shaky since the return of QB Sam Darnold in Week 3.
The defending champs sit at 3-1, but they have shown some potential flaws in the armor as they gave up 33 points to a bad Washington team being led by a backup QB in Week 3, then outgained by an 0-4 LA Chargers team in a game that shouldn't have been as close as it was.
Expect that Seattle's all-world defense looks a little more human here, and expect it to be hard for the Seahawks to get much going offensively outside of Smith-Njigba as they are missing both of their top backs and don't have a receiver with more than 10 catches other than JSN this season.
Against the spread
PASS.
The 49ers at +3.5 (-118) will cover, but it isn't worth backing them here when I expect them to win outright and make you much more money on the moneyline.
If you aren't confident in San Francisco to win outright, then back the Niners ATS instead.
Over/Under
LEAN OVER 46.5 (-108).
Seattle's defense has not looked as elite as you might expect as of late, as that unit has given up 56 points over its last 2 games in spite of not going against very high-powered offenses. This Seahawks defense will still have some moments of greatness in this game, but it will be impossible for this unit to deal with all of the Niners' options offensively with how they have played lately.
The Over has hit in each of Seattle's last 2 games, and it is 2-1 in San Francisco's last 3 games.
This is a lean because it is possible that Seattle's offense never gets going enough to help the Over cash.
Best prop bet
49ERS TE GEORGE KITTLE ANYTIME TD SCORER (+175)
The odds here are risky, but George Kittle has 4 receiving TDs across his last 4 games against Seattle, and this projects to be a tight divisional rivalry game, making it more likely that head coach Kyle Shanahan and Purdy will rely on their sure-handed TE that they trust in the red zone.
