Most recently, it was not pretty for the Silver and Black against the LA Rams in Week 7. LA steamrolled the Raiders. En route to a 35-21 win, the Rams held a 28-3 lead.
QB Kirk Cousins remains as the starter despite some eyeballs looking at
No. 1 overall pick QB Fernando Mendoza. Cousins is leading a strong effort on offense, though. Cousins had 295 passing yards and 2 touchdowns. WR Tre Tucker led Las Vegas with 5 catches, 103 yards and a touchdown in the outing.
Meanwhile, the Jets have lost just their past two games but last week's was ugly in particular. New York lost 28-25 to the previously winless Miami Dolphins.
Jets QB Geno Smith (23 for 30, 287 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT) and RB Braelon Allen (104 yards) did have promising stat lines. The Dolphins made just enough plays to squeak by. New York allowed Miami RB Ollie Gordon to rip off 103 yards with a touchdown on the ground.
While both are lowly teams at this point of the season, the Raiders and Jets have kept things tight throughout the year for sportsbooks. The Raiders at even money facing the Jets is a number worth jumping on. While Las Vegas is traveling to New York for this one, the Jets losing in front of their home fans to the Dolphins a week ago will quell much of the home-field advantage at MetLife Stadium.
Focus has been on the Raiders' passing attack as Cousins has played well. What could be a big difference maker over that, however, is the slew of injuries the Jets have along their defensive front. Sweat and Bailey have been key pieces in 2026.

If you're feeling like you need the safety of a point in the spread, have at it. But with the number being so close, the smarter move is to just take the Raiders outright.
