The GUARDIANS (+104) are a very good value on Labor Day as short dogs in the series opener at Charm City.
The Orioles are in a tailspin, and Baltimore needs to pull out of it immediately, or any hopes of a playoff run will be dashed. The problem for the O's is that the Guardians are in the hunt for a playoff spot, too, and Cleveland is playing very well.
Run line/Against the spread
If you're very conservative, Indians +1.5 (-210) is way too expensive if you need some insurance. Backing Cleveland will cost you more than 2 times your potential return, and that's not a recommended play.
PASS.
Over/Under
UNDER 8.5 (-122) is worth a look in this series opener with a pair of southpaws facing each other.
The O's are driving this Under train, however, as the offense has managed just a single run in the past 3 games. They're going to have some trouble against a determined Cantillo.
