Eagles at Titans picks and predictions
Prediction
Eagles 24, Titans 13
Moneyline
PASS.
The Eagles (-325) should have no problem winning and covering on Sunday in Music City, but there is better value on the spread.
Against the spread
BET EAGLES -7 (-115).
Philadelphia was pushed by Washington in Week 1, but Tennessee presents a much more favorable matchup. The Titans managed only 195 total yards and 11 first downs in their home loss to the Jets.
Philadelphia’s defense should make things even tougher on a young quarterback like Ward while creating opportunities for the offense with pressure and turnovers. The Eagles should also be able to control the game on the ground after Tennessee allowed 152 rushing yards in its opener.
RB Saquon Barkley rushed for 83 yards against Washington and could be in line for a bigger workload, while Hurts is coming off a 3 touchdown performance. Philadelphia didn’t play its best football in Week 1 and still won. Against a Tennessee offense that struggled to sustain drives, the Eagles should have opportunities to build a comfortable lead.
Over/Under
BET UNDER 39.5 (-110).
Philadelphia should be able to score, but Tennessee may struggle to do its part once again after scoring only 10 against the Jets in Week 1. Ward now faces another strong defense in Philadelphia, making it difficult to expect Tennessee to put many points on the board.
Best prop bet
Eagles RB Saquon Barkley 100+ Rushing Yards (+180).
Barkley's 83 yards in Week 1 came on just 15 carries. Now he draws a Tennessee defense that struggled against the run. The Titans allowed more than 140 rushing yards to the Jets, with Breece Hall topping the century mark. Barkley has averaged nearly 97 rushing yards over his last 30 games, and Philadelphia enters as a solid favorite. If the Eagles build an early lead, Barkley should see plenty of work.
