The 2026 Baycurrent Classic takes place this week in Japan as the FedExCup Fall schedule continues. Xander Schauffele is in the field to defend his title at Yokohama Country Club, with Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark among the top contenders. The first round begins on Thursday morning in Kanagawa, Japan, which is Wednesday night in the U.S.
Below, we search for the best value prop bets for the Baycurrent Classic and make our PGA Tour picks and predictions.
Schauffele is the favorite to repeat as this week's champion, with pre-tournament odds of +900. Morikawa is the next-closest competitor at +1600, which is tied with Clark for the second-best odds. The field is only 72 players and there is no 36-hole cut, so everyone will play all 4 rounds.
This is only the second time this event is being played at Yokohama Country Club, which is unique in that there are only 2 par 5s and 3 par 3s, so a lot of the scoring chances will come on par 4s. It's 7,322 yards long as a par 71, and features traditional tree-lined fairways with bunkers protecting most greens.

Baycurrent Classic – Top-5 picks
Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Tuesday at 3:41 p.m. ET.
Collin Morikawa (+275)
Morikawa has gained the fourth-most strokes of any player in the field over the last 3 months, according to Data Golf. He's also 18th in par-4 scoring average this season, so Yokohama should suit him well.
Baycurrent Classic: Best outright winners
Doug Ghim (+400)
Ghim tied for 17th at the Biltmore Championship Asheville a few weeks ago in his first start of the fall, and he's sixth in the field in SG: tee-to-green over the last 3 months. His recent form is good enough to make him a real contender this week.
Baycurrent Classic – Top-10 picks
Jacob Bridgeman (+175)
Bridgeman went 1-2 in his 3 Presidents Cup matches after winning the Biltmore Championship Asheville the week before, and his game is trending up heading into this event in Japan. Hideki Matsuyama is the only player in the field that has gained more strokes than Bridgeman in the last 3 months.
Wyndham Clark (+140)
Clark has been one of the best players in the world since his win at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson in May, and now he gets to face a relatively weak field of only 72 players. A top-10 is well within his grasp.
Alex Smalley (+275)
Smalley finished fourth at the Baycurrent Classic last year, which was his first time playing this course. He's 18th in par-4 scoring this season and is second in SG: approach in the last 3 months.
Baycurrent Classic – Top-20 picks
Keith Mitchell (+150)
Mitchell has some experience at Yokohama Country Club, finishing 10th in his debut last year. So long as he continues driving the ball well and can make some putts, he has a shot at a top-20.
Michael Thorbjornsen (+100)
Thorbjornsen challenged Schauffele at this event last year, finishing third at Yokohama. Over the last 3 months, he's eighth in total strokes gained and third from tee to green.
Baycurrent Classic – Matchups
Suggested play is golfer in bold.
Doug Ghim (-118) vs. Min Woo Lee (-105)
Lee played relatively well at the Presidents Cup, going 2-2-1 for 2.5 points, but Ghim has been striking the ball extremely well in the last 3 months and excels on par 4s.
Baycurrent Classic – Top Asian
Takumi Kanaya (+1000)
Kanaya has the sixth-best odds in this market, which is led by Matsuyama (+260). He's a long shot, but after finishing fourth here last year, he's a good pick to be the top Asian finisher this week.
Baycurrent Classic – Top English
Matt Wallace (+100)
Wallace missed the cut last week but prior to that, he finished 15th or better in 6 straight starts (2 on the PGA Tour, 4 on the DP World Tour. His form is good despite last week's missed cut in Utah.
Baycurrent Classic – First-round leader
Doug Ghim (+2800)
Ghim has the second-best first-round scoring average (68.61) on the PGA Tour in 2026.
