The 2025 Rebels-Warriors tilt was played in Las Vegas, and UNLV doubled up its guests in total yardage (470-231) and filed 30 first downs to UH's 12. The Rebels opened up a double-digit scoreboard cushion by the second minute of the second quarter and never looked back in what was a comfortable win.
The numbers underpinning each team's Week 0 loss were more solid on the UNLV side. Hawaii QB Micah Alejado was forced to throw the ball 50 times, and that type of one-dimensional offense figures to play to an advantage for UNLV.
