The Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1) and the Cleveland Browns (2-1) meet for Thursday Night Football at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, Ohio. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET (Prime Video). Let's analyze NFL prop bet odds around the Steelers vs. Browns and tab the 5 best prop bets to go along with SportsbookWire's expert NFL picks and predictions for Week 3.
The Steelers and Browns split the regular-season series in 2025, with Cleveland posting a 13-6 win on Dec. 28 at Huntington Bank Field. The Browns have won 3 of the past 5 meetings, with the home team winning (and covering) in 9 straight meetings since 2022. In the past 5 meetings, we've had an average of 31.6 combined points per game (PPG), so we'll have to be careful with the props.
Pittsburgh
posted a 30-27 win over the Cincinnati Bengals at home last Sunday, but it scored a total of just 23 points in the first 2 games, including a 20-3 loss at New England in Week 2 in its only previous road game.
Cleveland won 21-18 against the Carolina Panthers in the most recent home game, and it is searching for its first 3-game win streak since 2023, when it won 4 in a row enroute to a playoff appearance with QB Joe Flacco under center. The Browns offense is averaging 18.0 PPG, while allowing just 18.5 PPG in the past 2 outings.

Browns QB Deshaun Watson UNDER 187.5 PASSING YARDS (-113)
Watson led the comeback against the Panthers in Week 3, throwing a late touchdown to TE Harold Fannin Jr., his second of the day, as Cleveland completed the 23-19 comeback win. Despite the heroics, Watson still ended up with just 144 passing yards in the victory.
Through 3 games, Watson is averaging 195.7 passing yards per contest, and it has been mostly dink and dunk, with very few chances downfield. The Steelers rank 10th in the NFL with, allowing 211.0 passing yards per game, although teams have posted 11 pass plays of 20+ yards, so that's slightly alarming.
TNF: ML, ATS AND O/U
Steelers RB Jaylen Warren UNDER 73.5 RUSHING YARDS (-113)
The Cleveland defense has allowed 361 rushing yards through the first 3 games, with 4.5 yards per carry. Warren is expected to carry the mail Thursday, as RB Rico Dowdle (toe) has been ruled out.
While Cleveland has given up plenty of yardage on the ground, it has been a bend-don't-break defense, and Cleveland is 1 of just 5 NFL teams yet to allow a rushing touchdown, too, so be mindful of that if you go off on your own, potentially making an anytime TD play.

Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers OVER 0.5 RUSHING YARDS (-140)
It's pretty hilarious, but we simply need Rodgers to gain 3 feet on the ground to cash this prop.
In Week 1, kneel downs met a negative yardage total, but he had a lone 5-yard rush in Week 2 at New England, while going for 10 yards on 3 totes in Week 3. Look, nobody is going to confuse him for Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson, but a yard? A yard? Let's do it.
Browns TE Harold Fannin Jr. ANYTIME TOUCHDOWN (+280)
Fannin had a pair of TD receptions, including the game-winning score late in the fourth quarter to give Cleveland a much-needed win in the home opener.
Last season in Cleveland on Dec. 28, Fannin scored the only TD of the game against Pittsburgh in a 13-6 victory, and he has scored at least 1 TD in 5 consecutive home games, totaling 7 scores with 6 receiving TDs and 1 rushing touchdown.
Both teams to make 2+ FIELD GOALS (+240)
This is a little bit different of a kicking prop than we usually do, but I love it.
We're going to need both Steelers PK Chris Boswell and Browns PK Andre Szmyt to boot at least 2 field goals apiece. That's certainly doable with this mediocre offenses, and above-average defensive units. For the chance to more than double up, this is worth a roll of the dice.
