After a week off, the PGA Tour's fall schedule returns with the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship this week. Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda, is hosting this event once again, as it has each year since the tournament's inception in 2019. Below, we look at Butterfield Bermuda Championship odds and make our PGA Tour picks and predictions
before the first round begins Thursday morning.Even by FedExCup Fall standards, it's a fairly weak field in Bermuda. Ben James (+1000) is the favorite to win, with Andrew Novak, Chris Kirk and Corey Conners all tied for the second-best odds at +2500. If James does finish at the top come Sunday, it'll be the PGA Tour rookie's first career win. Adam Schenk (+10000) is the defending champion of
this event.
Port Royal is an extremely short course by PGA Tour standards, spanning just 6,828 yards as a par-71 layout. Situated right on the coast of Bermuda, wind and weather will undoubtedly play a factor, making scoring conditions more difficult. Despite the short course, Schenk's winning score last year was just 12-under par, including an even-par final round to win by 1 over Chandler Phillips.

Ben James (+1000)
His odds are short, but this is his best shot at a win so far. It's a weaker field and James comes in leading the field in SG: tee-to-green in the last 3 months. He's gaining strokes in every area and is the most well-rounded player teeing it up this week.
Seamus Power (+2800)
Power won here in 2022 and has finished 23rd or better in each of his last 4 starts in this event. He's not in the best form, but at a course he's very familiar with, he's worth taking this week.
Butterfield Bermuda Championship picks – Contenders
Davis Thompson (+4000)
With such a short course, approach play will be essential. Thompson has gained the most strokes (1.11) of any player in the field over the last 3 months with his approach shots, so he's a perfect fit for Port Royal. This will be his tournament debut, but that shouldn't deter you from taking him.
Emiliano Grillo (+5500)
Grillo is fifth among players in this field in SG: approach over the last 3 months. After playing well in July, he's looking to regain his form at a course that should suit his skills well; this will be his first time playing the Bermuda Championship.
Butterfield Bermuda Championship picks – Long shots
Vince Whaley (+6600)
After missing the cut in his 2021 debut, Whaley has since finished top 10 in 4 straight starts at this event, including fifth- and third-place finishes in the last 2 years. His current form is driving his odds up because he's struggling with his ball-striking, but there's no denying his course history.
