The No. 22 UCLA (4-0, 2-0 Big Ten) visit the 13th-ranked Oregon Ducks (3-1, 1-0) Saturday at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET (CBS). Let's analyze college football odds around the UCLA vs. Oregon game and make our expert college football picks and predictions for the best bets.
Both teams are coming off bye weeks following wins in Week 4 and headlines are centered on Oregon QB Dante Moore. The Ducks are facing his former team in the Bruins, but the starting quarterback will not play as he remains in the concussion protocol. QB Dylan Raiola, a transfer from Nebraska with two years of starting experience, will get the nod.
Raiola has thrown for 413 yards with 5 TDs and no interceptions in 2 appearances for the
Ducks this season, but this will be his first start. His last appearance when he replaced an injured Moore in the second quarter of a 41-27 win at then-No. 12, now-No. 17 USC Sept. 26 allowed him to build rapport with TE Jamari Johnson and RB Dierre Hill Jr. Johnson finished with 7 catches for 119 yards in the win, while Hill Jr. had 4 catches for 105 yards.
Meanwhile, Oregon will have to deal with a strong rushing attack that has the Bruins unbeaten. UCLA is fourth in the nation in rushing, averaging 281.5 yards per game and 6.95 yards per carry, according to NCAA.com. The Bruins' attack is led by RB Wayne Knight, who is averaging 9.1 yards per carry and leads UCLA with 445 rushing yards and 9 TDs.
Oregon has owned UCLA recently in this series, winning 11 of the last 12 matchups, including 5 in a row dating back to 2018. The Ducks took the last meeting 34-13 in Pasadena Sept. 28, 2024, but the Bruins covered as big 24.5-point underdogs with the Under (54.5) cashing. While Oregon is 9-1 in the last 10 head-to-head matchups, it is just 6-4 against the spread (ATS) and the Under is 6-3-1.
This season, Oregon has hit the Over in all 4 of tis games and is 2-2 ATS. UCLA is 4-0 ATS with a 3-1 Over/Under showing.

UCLA at Oregon picks and predictions
Prediction
Oregon 30, UCLA 24
Moneyline
PASS.
I would not recommend taking Oregon (-425) on the moneyline at this high price.
Against the spread
BET UCLA +10.5 (-115).
The Bruins look like a new program under first-year coach Bob Chesney. UCLA grinds out games which could shorten this one. Plus, Raiola is a capable backup, but he's still a No. 2 for a reason. It's logical to believe UCLA will make this an interesting and close Big Ten showdown, so TAKE THE POINTS. The Bruins are perfect ATS this season, after all.
Over/Under
BET UNDER 58.5 (-115).
A lot of cash is being thrown on the Over, but similar reasons for taking the points with UCLA are at play here. It could be a close one, but ride with the Under because Raiola won't be perfect and the Bruins' ground game will grind this game out.
