Jaguars at Bengals picks and predictions
Prediction
Bengals 31, Jaguars 24
Moneyline
PASS.
There is better value on the Bengals' moneyline.
Against the spread
BET BENGALS -2.5 (-115).
More times than not with this point spread, a Bengals win would also be cover, thus giving the spread better value. The Bengals are returning home after two weeks on the road, including a tough loss in Pittsburgh last weekend. Even with some uncertainties on availability, expect the Bengals defense to come out with a rejuvenated fire after a rough showing last week. Their offense has minimal concerns, scoring at least 20 points in each of their 3 contests.
Jacksonville's lone loss came in their only road game so far and the only game in which they entered as underdogs. And they scored a season-low 13 points.
Expect a tight game, going blow-for-blow, but the Bengals have the advantage.
Over/Under
BET OVER 51.5 (-110).
Burrow and the Bengals offense have scored at least 27 points in 2 of their 3 games, while Lawrence and the Jaguars offense have scored at least 34 in 2 of their 3. Both teams like to look for big plays while also having minimal trouble moving the ball down the field. Even with this being a higher total, these teams are more than capable.
Best prop bet
BET ANYTIME TOUCHDOWN: CHASE BROWN (-140 on DraftKings).
Brown has only gotten in the endzone once this season, but that came in the Bengals' only home game. After back-to-back games without a score he is due for one Sunday. Expect the fourth-year back to get back on track and cash this bet, having the best odds of any player.
