What is the story about?
Take a bow, Jonas Sanker. The second-year New Orleans Saints
safety tied things up in Sunday's matchup with the Minnesota Vikings after recovering a fumble and returning it 87 yards for a touchdown. Veteran linebacker Pete Werner and backup cornerback Martin Emerson Jr. met in a big collision to force the ball out of Vikings running back Myles Price's hands, and Sanker was in the right place at the right time to pick it up.The 87 yards Sanker covered on that fumble return were the second-most in franchise history; Keith Mitchell set the record for the Saints on a 90-yard return back in 2000.

These are exactly the types of plays the Saints need from rookie draft picks like Sanker. Their
defense lacks difference makers at too many positions, but Sanker has delivered in some big moments. Let's see if he can keep it up and earn more confidence from the coaching staff in Year 2.
