We're in for a classic uniform matchup when the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons square off on Monday night. The Saints announced they will be wearing their white away jerseys with gold pants -- the same uniforms they used 20 years ago when they reopened the Superdome after Hurricane Katarina.
It's one of their better looks, but the gold pants fell out of fashion for several years after they were worn into the second game of 2019, in which Drew Brees suffered a season-threatening injury to his throwing hand. That superstition (and Brees' voice in the weekly captain's meetings voting on uniforms for every game) didn't go away until the 2021 season finale, but the gold trousers appear only sporadically to this day.

As for the visiting team? Atlanta plans on wearing their red home jerseys with white pants, making for a stellar matchup. The Falcons wore red in the "Rebirth" game two decades ago, too, so it couldn't be more fitting. May the best-dressed team win.
